Whenever a trip like this ends theree is always mixed emotions. Contentment for knowing we were able to be servants ..... sadness for leaving new friends ... excitement for returning home to loved ones and friends.... Our last day saw our team split up into two groups. Since Carl, Bill and I were driving home we stayed behind to complete some chores around the Olive Tree and the other 5 went to finish up their projects on the house. I had some fun on the John Deere tractor cutting all the grass. We sprayed some weed killer, changed AC filters and other general maintanence. Kate, one of the women running things at the Olive Tree prepared us a nice lunch and wished us well on our journey. We arrivevd back in Charlotte about 1:00 am Saturday ... exhausted but exhilerated .... I'll post my final thoughts on New Orleans tomorrow! Thanks for all your prayers this week!
